Safe Boating Certification

If you love to spend time on New York's waterways, make it easier to carry on the tradition of boating safely. If you have taken an approved safe boating course and received your NY Safe Boating Certificate, with just a couple of easy steps you can choose to have your certification reflected on your NY Driver License, Non-Driver ID or learner’s permit with a small anchor icon. The advantage is that you no longer need to carry your boating safety certificate with you when boating, provided you have your driver’s license.
